Cookie 2009 Mini Greeting Card Calendar

UFO (Unidentified Furry Object)
With no visible nose cone section to house a conventional navigation radar (For tracking delicious organic fuel) and an unusually short tail antenna (For the communication of mood), this ultra-advanced flying object is suspected of having an extra-terrestrial origin........
Detailed inspection under the assumed nose section reveals that this flying object is also equipped with a tiny pinkish-colored retractable sensor that extends automatically when it comes in close contact (about 5mm) with the face of a human being. This sensor is believed to be an ultra-sophisticated survey tool as it can move rapidly up & down to scan the face of a human subject. When in operation, this sensor also tends to leave a transparent film of substance of which its composition and function are still unknown.

Cookie in a cookie (I fell asleep in the filling)

Who stole the cookie from the cookie jar? I think I saw her from afar. She's furry. She's brown. There's crumbs on her toes. But the most telltale sign, was the cream on her nose!

Fortune Cookie:

A bite always leaves the mark of a smile on a cookie.

Cookie Bag (shopping guide dog)

It's your birthday today,

So I bought you a gift,

Though it didn't cost nothing,

It was a real thrift!

I wanted to give you,

Something really good,

But instead I went out,

And spent it on food.

Although my present,

Might really bug you,

My best other gift,

Is to love and hug you.

Cookieberry (Romping around in the Strawberry Field)

How do strawberries get struck to one's feet is an important question. But an even more important question concerning our little Cookie is how to get unstruck.

Tired and exhausted from eaing so much of the juicy red fruit, the pup falls asleep dreaming of his day in the strawberry field.

Cookieberry Shake

3-4 medium ripe red strawberries

2/3 cup fresh milk

3 scoops strawberry ice cream

2-3 chocolate wafer cookies, crushed.

Remove leaves and put the washed strawberries into a blender. Add the milk and puree for a few seconds. Add the ice cream and blend until just smooth. Pour into individual glasses. Top with the crushed wafer cookies just before serving. Makes 2 servings.

Cookie Baking in the Sun (Does sunbathing count as a bath?)

There are a variety of cookie doughs, and this one is a tan color with sporadic bits of dark brown chocolate. Before you bake it, make sure you knead it well by patting it and rubbing it on the belly. When the cookie dough is relaxed, it will slump by your feet and will be ready to bake in the sun. Situate the lump of dough in direct sunlight of about 28C. As it lies baking, the dough will rise and fall. When the cookie is done on one side, roll it over and finish baking the otherside. Pat the cookie to test for doneness.

Poi & Cookiela (The Luau Duo)

"One kiss hello,

One furry embrace,

Until we meet again."

Yoga (I only joined cause I thought it said yogurt)

Running nowhere on a treadmill to work off a few pounds of cookie fat, the exercise machine trots along. Fully equipped with muscle power to do all sorts of tricks, it is best used in conjunction with a human partner.

Do not underestimate its pudgy design and dripping parts. The strong machine can run up to 10mph at the sound of an opening of a bag of chips, and can carry away your heart in an instant.

Nightcap (A nightime discussion over a cookie and a warm glass of milk)

The night prowler is asleep, but not for long. Soon, she will waake for her tummy growls. Beware the sight of the fanged beast with claws sharp, body covered in hair. Those wo bump into her in the middle of the night become prey to be pounced upon, tail thrashing, tongus salivating. From a personal account of an encounter with the creature: : "It was horrible. The teeth, the fangs, the fight. I barely got out with any of the leftover pizza!"

Ear-Muffin (The totally tasty Cookie)

I think that I smell Christmas,

The scens of spice and ginger.

Hanging around the kitchen,

To lick the baker's Finger.

Sugar sweets and Christmas bows,

Getting kissed under the Mistletoe.

Now that I smell Christmas,

I'll need a nap or two,

For Christmas brings a lot of gifts,

And new slippers for me to Chew!
